Highlights of some of my talks, keynotes, webinars, panels and facilitation

Initially I was very reluctant to speak publicly: my first event, in 2008, took quite a bit of coaching from colleagues for me to actually do it! As I ended up enjoying it, and colleagues said kind things, I kept doing it. It turned out to be a really useful catalyst for building better communication skills, which helped on my path to tech architect and leader.

More recently, partly as a result of running podcasts, I've also started chairing panels and facilitating round tables. Whilst related to speaking, it is quite a different skill: getting the best out of others, keeping the conversation flowing and keeping the audience engaged!
