Privacy notice
What cronky.net does, and does not do, with your data.
The short version: this site does not track you.
What this site does not do
- It sets no cookies.
- It runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
- It loads no third-party embeds until you ask. Talk recordings show a locally stored preview image; only when you press play does the page load the video from YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), at which point Google's privacy policy applies. Podcasts are plain links.
- It has no forms and collects no personal information.
What is stored in your browser
If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it next time. It never leaves your device, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Search
Search runs entirely in your browser. What you type is not sent anywhere.
Links to other sites
Many pages link to other websites, such as podcast platforms, LinkedIn and event sites. A few article thumbnails on the writing page are loaded from the publisher's website. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
