- DIST (Digital Impacts Schema and Taxonomy) A collaboration with the Green Web Foundation to help organisations measure and reduce the environmental footprint of their digital infrastructure.
Some of my past projects
- InferESG An open-source project exploring the use of AI to support ESG analysis and reporting, developed at Software Engineering Consultancy for the Fintech Innovation Lab (FRIL). Investigates how large language models can help organisations navigate complex sustainability reporting requirements.
- Technology Carbon Standard An open standard for measuring and reporting the carbon impact of technology systems, co-authored while at a technology consultancy. Provides a consistent framework for organisations to understand and reduce the environmental footprint of their technology estate. Note now largely superceded by DIST.
- Infinity Architecture An enabling technology platform architecture engagement at Deloitte, defining the architectural foundations for a major transformation programme.
- ATOM — Architecture Target Operating Model Defining the Architecture Target Operating Model for Nationwide Building Society, establishing how architecture practice should operate within a major financial institution.
- Systems Integration Strategy and Reference Architecture Defining Three's systems integration strategy and reference architecture to guide how applications and services connect across the organisation.
- Document and Knowledge Management — SharePoint Online Architecture and delivery leadership for Three's document and knowledge management platform migration to SharePoint Online.
- DfT/OLEV — Plug-in Car Grants Technical architecture for the Department for Transport and Office for Low Emission Vehicles plug-in car grants scheme, supporting the UK's early EV adoption programme.
- Sciencewise Expert Resource Centre Technical architecture and delivery for the Sciencewise Expert Resource Centre, a UK government-funded programme supporting public dialogue on science and technology.
- Domestic Wind Turbine Safeguarded Land Tool A geospatial web tool for assessing safeguarded land constraints on domestic wind turbine installations, delivered for a UK government client at AEA Technology.
- Renewable Energy Statistics Database and Web Application A statistics database and public-facing web application for renewable energy data, developed at AEA Technology for a UK government client.
